Summary

Amnesia can be a right pain, can’t it? No recollection of the past, no idea what your purpose is... not even a clue as to what your own name is! Feel for the protagonist of Fate: Extra then, as things get even more complicated - our forgetful main character has to fight for his very survival in a war that he doesn’t quite understand - in a virtual world that is completely alien to him.

From your waking moment, you have to battle both apparent friends and obvious foes in death matches, with nothing but an enigmatic “Servant” by your side. The objective is to obtain a mysterious object known as the “Holy Grail,” but throughout your adventure you must also piece together your past, and why you are actually here.

Fate: Extra brings you some fast-paced battle action thanks to an interesting system built on a heavy combination of Guards, Attacks and Breaks to create stunning special moves and magic spells. Even though it’s all going rather fast, it will serve you well to plan your attack strategy, as only those with an effective plan will succeed.

The writer of the original Fate series of PC games, Kinoko Nasu, returns to bring you a story that completely resonates with long-time fans while providing an accessible experience for RPG fans looking for a deep plot. Multiple story paths and unique dialogue trees that lead to different endings highlight this.
