Summary

Another year inevitably means another official FIM Superbike World Championship game. It doesn't mean that one year of bike racing is all you're going to get, though. This time, series developer Milestone has gone bigger than ever with a roster that delivers the top riders across all age groups from no less than four seasons of racing. The years 2009 - 2012 are all accounted for, delivering over 220 riders, 141 teams and 60 bike models from 10 manufacturers.

The game's engine has also had a bit of a tweak, meaning it now packs a greater visual impact, more lifelike weather simulation, evolving track tech, real time lightning, bloom, High Dynamic Range and improved character animations to reflect emotion.

There are a few modes on offer, including career mode (does what it says on the tin), 'Official' mode (in which you play as one of the real riders and get the opportunity to rewrite the sport's history over the last few years), SBK Experience (a series of objective-specific challenges and one-manufacturer races) and, of course, online.

Tracks on offer include:

Aragòn, Spain
Assen, Holland
Brno, Czech Republic
Donington Park, England
Imola, Italy
Kyalami, South Africa
Losail, Qatar
Magny Cours, France
Miller Motorsport Park, USA
Misano, Italy (San Marino)
Monza, Italy
Nurburgring, Germany
Phillip Island, Australia
Portimao, Portugal
Silverstone, England
Valencia, Spain
Vallelunga, Italy

That should be plenty to keep even the most dedicated biker happy.
