Doctor Kawashima? Pfft. What does that guy know? Everybody knows that the best way to judge intelligence is to turn to the official Body of Boffins, Mensa. And thanks to Square Enix and Barnstorm Games, Mensa Academy is here to help you understand just how high (or low) your IQ really is.
Packed with a number of mini-games and challenges, Mensa Academy contains Mensa-endorsed questions that will put your mind to the test. These challenges can be tackled in a number of different ways, from a simple Play mode to a Coach practice run and a Test mode for a shot at the real thing.
Over 100 replayable levels can be found in the Play mode, within five distinct disciplines - Numeracy, Language, Logic, Memory and Visual. Each question will flash at you with nothing but a little bit of background and scenery to spice up your activities. You don’t want to get distracted while trying to work out a missing number in a pattern, after all.
Coach is the next step up, allowing for further training to hone abilities and assess progress in key disciplines. The Test mode is what you’re building up to, and after completion you will discover what your Mensa Academy score is. It’s the next level in brain training exercise.
