Bringing together the well establishes Western Fantasy with the little known Eastern European flavours, Thea: The Awakening provides a bridge between different fantasy tropes and gaming conventions! In Thea, you will meet distinct, Slavic creatures like a devious Baba Yaga or a bloodthirsty Striga, but, even the better known Elves and Dwarves are altered by their life on the Eastern side of the world. In the current gaming market, diversity is a key issue, and so providing a culturally unique and diverse setting is our small way to work towards greater inclusiveness! Developed with love, by a small, family studio, consisting of both male and female devs, and based in UK and Poland, we bring in the best of two worlds!

Thea combines elements of strategy, with its turn based, isometric view gameplay, village and resource management and complex crafting system; together with the Survival tropes of a postapocalyptic setting, with creatures of Darkness lurking in every corner, other survivors looking to take your life, or goods, and disease or natural disaster threatening your settlement's future! All this is coupled with a story driven, dynamic events system that will lead to solve the mystery of the world's peril and a tactical, integrated card minigame, used to face the many challenges in Thea, including combat, social encounters, curses or physical challenges. Finally, we bring you a fantasy setting inspired by Slavic mythology and folklore, where you become one of the eight remaining Gods from a Slavic inspired pantheon and lead your people to survival... or doom!
