Summary
Angry Birds has come full circle. The hit mobile game has spawned a film series which has, in turn, prompted a video game all of its own that takes you right into the heart of the action.
In The Angry Birds Movie 2 the birds and the piggies have put aside their differences to team up and tackle the new threat of Eagle Island. To get there, though, they're travelling by submarine and en route Leonard and scientist Garry decide to take a little detour in the minisub. This is where you and your pals come in.
In a fun twist on the Angry Birds formula, the VR player is actually in charge of firing objects using a magnet so that they can both take out obstacles and grab treasure with plungers shot from the sub.
In the style of Overcooked, however, this is a game designed to be played with friends. While one player is immersed in VR, slinging objects through the ocean, the crew teams up on the TV screen. They have to craft ammo, stash the treasure the captain is bringing in and repair machines on the fly. The result is a fast and furious co-op experience that grafts VR and on-screen play into a seamless experience. Don't worry if you're playing solo, though - you can do it all yourself, but you'd better be fast!
