Born: Dec 1964

After leaving North Staffordshire Poly, Dave set up Software Invasion with his brother Simon, publishing games for BBC and C64, later publishing through CRL.

He then Joined Krisalis Software in Rotherham as a programmer for a short time. After leaving Krisalis, Dave set up 221B Software Development where he made several games for publishers on many platforms.... Dave was responsible for programming and production.

After 221B he took a year out and then came back to the industry as internal producer at Virgin Interactive but soon left to go to Philips Media as an external producer.

Following the Infogrames buyout Dave left and helped out a testing club called Area51. Finally he has ended up at Codemasters running the London studio and Producing.

Software Highlights from Credited Titles

Dave Vout's first video game work that SPOnG is aware of is the 1988 title, "NATO Assault Course" (Spectrum 48K) as Programmer.

Dave's most recent involvement was as Executive Producer on the 2000 release "Mike Tyson Boxing" (PlayStation).
