Counterstrike is an add-on mission pack for Command and Conquer: Red Alert. C&C is a real-time strategy game for your PC. This series has an extremely successful heritage to draw on and the level has been raised again as you seek victory for your side. You can choose from the Global Defence Initiative who are trying to maintain peace throughout the world, or The Brotherhood of Nod, who are an evil terrorist organisation hell bent on destruction.

Each level has objectives that must be met in order to make progress through the levels. The resource management is one of the most captivating aspects of Command and Conquer. You must mine ore to provide funds for your war effort. Deciding what structures to build and what troops to train makes all the difference between success and failure.

Counterstrike features 16 new single player missions and 100 new multi-player maps. The secret ant missions are hidden somewhere in this game for you to unlock. Dangerous new nuclear technologies are available in Counterstrike for maximum damage. The ability to tackle the new missions in any order is nice gameplay feature. Counterstrike has desktop themes that you can use to spice up the look of your computer.
