Summary

Motorcycle fans, rev your engines and get ready to ride some of the fastest machines on the planet. Ducati World on the Sony PlayStation is a high-octane, exhilarating journey into the exciting world of high speed motorbike racing action. This is your chance to race against England’s world famous four-time superbike champion Carl Fogarty. Do you think you have the skills to beat him? Only time will tell.

In Ducati World you get to ride Ducatis from the last 50 years including the 1960 Daytona right through to today’s monsters. What makes this game enjoyable is the difference in handling characteristics that all of the bikes possess. This game plays excellently and each bike has its own feel. This is an excellent incentive to play through the game with all of the available bikes.

Ducati World game really comes into its own when you are racing in the first-person perspective mode. The road tilts smoothly from side to side as you lean into the corners. The analogue control compliments this and makes it easy to take racing lines into the corners.

This is a great motorbike simulation. You have to earn your license to buy the motorbike that you desire by winning races and upgrading your bike. Just like the real thing. Alternatively you can just jump straight into the quick race and enjoy a two-player game. Ducati World has a great feel to it and a healthy-looking lifespan that will keep you entertained for a long time.
